Tamika N. Washington, Esquire
Ms. Washington is a member of the Pennsylvania State and Federal Bars. She has a Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law. A former Assistant City Solicitor, Ms. Washington successfully litigated cases involving experts in complex and sensitive issues.
She has a wide range of experience as an employment, probate, and real estate lawyer. Ms. Washington's practice is unique in that she also assists clients in getting back their homes after fraudulent deed transfer.
Ms. Washington served as the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Young Lawyers Division Co-Chair for Zone 1 (Philadelphia) and as a voting member of the PBA House of Delegates from 2014-2016. She was selected as one of only 10 attorneys across the state to be a part of the 2013-2014 class of the Bar Leadership Institute, which trains its members in the governance and leadership of the organization.
Ms. Washington is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania's Pro Bono Award. She was a Temple Public Interest Scholar, Peggy Browning Fund Fellow (Labor Law) and Barristers' Association of Philadelphia Community Service Scholar.
Shortly after her admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, she became the associate manager of a boutique law firm, where she represented clients in employment discrimination, real estate, and trusts and estate law.
Ms. Washington seeks to enrich her community, as she is involved in a number of organizations, including forming and organizing the Legal Ministry at Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where she serves as Co-Supervising Attorney.
